Kaizen

Kaizen is the practice of continuous improvement. The concept originated in Japan and was introduced to the West in 1986 when Masaaki Imai book was published (Kaizen: The Key to Japan’s Competitive Success).

I’ve first heard about kaizen during a course on agile project management.  Even though the term was used to describe things you would do at work I really liked the idea of continuous improvement of oneself. I hope to learn, reflect and adapt to become a better, and happier, human being.
